Rock the riverbank

There’s one slot left on the SHMF stage — but a band’s gotta play its way in by winning Rock the Riverbank!

The inaugural Rock the Riverbank competition will be held at Horan’s Landing in Sleepy Hollow on Saturday, May 3 (rain date May 4), from 1-5pm.

The competition takes place on an outdoor stage along the Hudson River. The winner of Rock the Riverbank will Headline the Regional Stage at the second annual Sleepy Hollow Music Festival on Saturday, June 7, 2025!

This event is FREE to attend and will run like a mini festival. The public is invited to come out to hear the five finalist bands as they have 20 minutes to wow the judges with their best songs.

We’ll have Walter’s Hot Dogs, Bona Bona Ice Cream, George’s Wood-Fired Pizza and Rosie’s Empanadas onsite to satisfy your cravings, and Soul Brewery slinging ice cold craft beer — including their custom SHMF brew, the Headless Horseman Summer Lager — to make sure you don’t get thirsty. There will also be kids’ activities like bubbles, yard games and crafts to keep your little ones entertained while you relax.
